Before the reform and opening up, Jia'an Village was one of the most extensive natural villages in Bao'an Xin'an District. In the past, there were four large villages in Xin'an County, namely Jia'an Village, Shanghe Village, Anle Village, and Fanshen Village. Anle and Fensheng are fishing villages, with little land resources. Jia'an Village has the most fields. In the early days of liberation, there were six or seven thousand mu of land in Jia'an Village.
At the beginning of reform and opening up in the 1980s, Baoan County resumed its organizational structure. The Baoan County Party Committee and County Government moved from the old site on the north side of the current Wang Building to Xinan Town, Baoan County. Jia'an Village, located in the center of Xin'an Town and closest to the Nantou Pass, has become an important area for construction. From 1982 to 1983, the former Bao'an County Construction Headquarters represented the government. With a paddy field of 615 yuan / mu, dry land of 300 yuan / mu, and mountainous land of 40 yuan / mu, more than 6,000 mu of land in Jia'an Village was used for urban construction. Jiaan Village has only about 100,000 square meters of reserved land, which has made selfless dedication and great contributions to Shenzhen's reform and opening up at the beginning.

Before the government requisitioned land, the range from the Nantou checkpoint to the current Bao'an Bus Station and the 107 National Road to Shanghe Village belonged to Jia'an Village, at least five or six square kilometers, but now it has been reduced to 0.3 square kilometers. The old people lamented that it would take half a day to walk around at that time, and now it is estimated to be less than 2 hours. Moshang Xiangfang
After three large-scale land acquisitions by the government in three years, Jiaan Village completely ended the villagers' farming, fishing, and weaving lives. At that time, the villagers of Shanghe Village, Fanshen Village, and Anle Village, which were also affiliated with Xin'an Street, were envious of the villagers of Jia'an who took the lead to wash their feet and go to the field. They could go to the factory to do business or do business on their own. Later, these three villages also began to urbanize. With the change of the land acquisition policy, the land can be returned and the subsidy for land acquisition increased. Only then did the villagers of Jiaan Village find themselves "lost".
Jiaan Village was originally the core area of Baoan's earliest construction and development. However, due to excessive land acquisition at the beginning, there is no land available for development, which means nothing can be done. Just like a clever wife ca n’t cook without rice, now I just hope that I wo n’t be pulled too far away by others.
Urban renewal may be the best opportunity facing Jia'an Village. The limitation of land is forcing the decision-makers in Jia'an Village to find a way out of space utilization rate and land use value.
